LOS ANGELES, CA, April 24, 2020 — Gentamu (Jen Jen) McKinney, travel influencer and mental health advocate is proud to present a new book, Keep Calm, Bring Your Carry On.  

Jen Jen’s world exploration with other travel influencers of color includes a combined, over 50 passports, 500 passport stamps, and over a million sky miles.

Jen Jen states that travel should always be included as a form of self-care. She is always looking to break the silence and stigma about mental health in Black communities worldwide. “Traveling is part of my self-care routine rather it be local or international. I like to call it to travel therapy. It allows me to recharge and heal myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. It also allows me to silent in my thoughts and places things and situations in its proper perspective. It has helped me appreciate the more simpler things in life and made feel more comfortable in my own skin. Traveling the world and giving back while doing it has brought a sense of calmness to my life.” ~Jen Jen McKinney  

Keep Calm, Bring Your Carry On drops at a very timely point in our country’s history. Citizens are struggling with mental wellness right now and looking for solutions to feelings of anxiety, uneasiness, and a thirst for travel.
